- That Which I Look Upon
-
- As light, which plays upon a breeze,
- A silver blue sweet music on the air.
- One thought transforms Life to the greatest ease,
- One look is treasured as a blue gem rare.
- Ten thousand swords could not destroy the tower
- That beckons me with light from distant way
- To bring myself beneath the pure, true power
- That gives me rest, enflames the dark'ning day.
- A Spring lightning, a gentle fragrant rain,
- New roses littered 'cross a waving field,
- An eagle, winging to the sky again,
- The flame which dances, joy to yield.
- Forevermore are you as this beauty,
- A paragon of light entrancing me.
